2020 Airport NavAids
Works Supervision and HS Management
BDPSP have undertaken works supervision and safety management for an airport client, for the installation of navigational aids. The project incorporated airside working to excavate for pit and ducts, concrete pours, lifting and fixing of structural components, electrical and comms connections and commissioning of the equipment. BDPSP managed airport interfaces, supervision of works in progress and safety management of the site.

Maintenance Inspection
Removal of a flue from a Hangar roof required internal and external inspection. BDPSP worked with LHP and BlueSky to provide a drone survey and internal photography without requiring confined space or working at height access. Read our case study here

2021 Isle Of Man Airport Ground Services Refurbishment – Package 2
Project Management
BDPSP have undertaken the role of Project Manager for the Isle Of Man Ronaldsway Airport Ground Services Refurbishment. The project encompassed resurfacing works to the northern and southern ends of the runway, taxiways and aprons, adjustments to drainage, and an upgrade of the AGL system.

2021 Airfield Taxiway Rehabilitation
NEC Works Supervisor and Provision of Airside Security Escort
BDPSP worked with a UK airport to supervise the rehabilitation of two taxiways. The works were undertaken over a few nights to ensure the airport could remain operational and included saw cut and sealing to the existing concrete taxiway, and the application of Rhinophalt to the existing asphalt taxiway.
2021 Campbeltown Runway 11/29 & AGL Rehabilitation
Project Management Services
BDPSP were pleased to work with Lagan Aviation and Infrastructure to complete Campbeltown Airport Runway Rehabilitation in only 38 days, providing Project Management services for the work. The works included planing of the existing runway, laying binder and surface courses of Marshall asphalt, cleaning and repairs to drainage, and upgrading/relocating the APAPI system.
